Vettel hoping to end season on a high

The German champion can set a new mark for pole by achieving just that this weekend at Interlagos, but still the ultimate prize is to win again in this track.

SAO PAULO, Nov 25, 2011 (AFP) - Sebastian Vettel said that although there is no pressure on him to win any more races this season, he will do all he can to win this Sunday's season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

The 24-year-old Red Bull driver won his second successive drivers' title in Japan in October, and has already won 11 races this year.

In spite of this, the German still has his sights on winning the Interlagos race for the second year running.

"All in all, we cannot complain about the races or the results we have had this year," he said.

"We seem to like this circuit. Last year we had a very good run here, and two years ago Mark (Webber) won this race, so we seem to like this circuit.

"It might be a bit chaotic at times but we want to finish the season on a high as we've seen for the last two years. The weather forecast looks a bit up and down. But surely we want to finish as high as we can."

Despite his current run of success, Vettel admitted that he was looking forward to some time off before the 2012 season.

He said: "It has been a long season! - We started in mid-January, then in February was the first test and now it is December.

"It is tough for the whole team. We need a break to get ready for next year as well. When you find a rhythm and we are on a good run, quite a good run, we don't want it to end.

"But we can't really complain, and we couldn't really ask for more. We had the opportunity to enjoy the last couple of races. We had the opportunity simply to enjoy.

"There was less pressure. Although we have kept the pressure on ourselves, we always wanted to win races. The same thing, we try again here."
