April 5, 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Under the floodlights of Bahrain, Valtteri Bottas qualified fourth showing the Williams has the pace to keep up with the front runners.

Daniel Ricciardo’s 10 place grid penalty, means Bottas will start third on Sunday and teammate Felipe Massa seventh.

Bottas feels the team can expect a 'good result' on race day if they get the strategy right .

It was a good qualifying session; I think we got the maximum potential out of the car today.” He said.

“We haven’t done too many laps this weekend so there are things we can still improve for the race, but if we get the strategy right and take the opportunities that come our way we should be in for a good result.”

Teammate Felipe Massa was unable to match Bottas’ performance after making mistakes on his hot lap.

“I made a few mistakes on my lap in Q3 as I had a bit of oversteer, so lost some time and I really should have been quicker.” he said.

“We look competitive which is good to see, and we are in the fight for tomorrow.”

After a few difficult seasons, Williams are having a strong start to the 2014 season and are sitting fourth in the constructors' championship.
