Here’s the starting grid after penalties have been applied.

SILVERSTONE, 6th July 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Changing weather conditions treated us to an exciting qualifying session for British Grand Prix which resulted in a few surprise positions.

After penalties and disqualifications were applied, the order was mixed up further.

Max Chilton drops five places due to a gearbox change on Saturday morning.

Esteban Gutierrez has a 10 place grid penalty for an unsafe release at the Austrian Grand Prix. At the time the Sauber driver served a 10 second stop-go penalty but new rules dictate that drivers must also drop 10 grid places at the next race.

Pastor Maldonado was disqualified from qualifying because he was unable to provide a 1 litre fuel sample after the session.

Marcus Ericsson and Kamui Kobayashi both qualified outside of the Q1 107% time but the stewards have allowed them to race based on their performance so far this weekend.
