SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, August 22nd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - A u-turn at Marussia means Max Chilton will take part in this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, denying Alexander Rossi of his debut drive.
Marussia released a statement on Thursday which stated that Rossi would replace Chilton while 'contractual issues' were resolved.
On Friday morning Marussia applied to change their nominated driver for the Belgian Grand prix from Rossi back to Chilton.
The stewards accepted the decision and Rossi only took part in FP1, finishing 20th overall.
Chilton will be back in the car for FP2 and will take part in the Belgian Grand Prix.
