SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, August 22nd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Felipe Massa feels Williams have a good chance of scoring a podium finish during Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.
Massa was 15th fastest in FP1 but then improved during FP2 to finish fourth fastest.
"Mercedes are still looking very strong and seem to have an advantage over everyone else, but we should have a good opportunity to fight for the podium," Massa said
"we need to make sure that we continue improving the car over the course of the weekend."
The Brazilian driver say a problem-free Friday allowed them to learn about the car.
"It was a good Friday for us with no issues and we were able to continue learning about the car."
Teammate Valtteri Bottas said he felt there was still more to come from the car.
"The car balance felt good from the beginning and we managed to improve it as the sessions went on," Bottas said.
"there is still more performance I think we can unlock before Sunday."
Bottas finished FP1 10th and FP2 sixth.
