August 25th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Nico Rosberg has posted a video responding to Lewis Hamilton's claims that he crashed in to him deliberately on lap two of the Belgian Grand Prix.
Hamilton told journalists that during the debrief Rosberg told him he crashed into him on purpose.
During the video, which is just under two minutes long, the championship leader says he is aware of Hamilton's comments to the media and disagrees with them.
"all I can say is that my view of the events are very different," Rosberg says.
The German goes on to say that he doesn't want to say much more on the matter and said the team would discuss the matter interally.
"The thing is, it's just better that I don't now give all the details of my opinion and things like that, I hope you respect that," he says.
"I prefer to just keep it internally. We had a very good discussion, an important discussion, after the race, as when such things occur, we must sit down and review them. And that's what we did and everybody gave his opinion and now we need to move forward."
"There will be another discussion for sure because we need to see if we need to change our approach in the future, as we did in Hungary, and we will do that."
The championship leader went on to praise Mercedes leadership and was confident that they could continue being competitive.
"The good thing is that we really have a great leadership in the team with Paddy [Lowe], Toto [Wolff] and with the help of Niki [Lauda] and that really is important in such situations. Therefore I'm confident that, as always, we're going to find back to our way and keep on fighting in Monza.
