The Quiz
Bio

I was born in Sao Paulo on May 13th 1988, two days before Ayrton Senna crash his car into the guardrail right before the Tunnel in Monaco on that fatidic race. But I just started to follow F1 closely in 1996, despite the interest of Brazilian people in motorsport have fallen dramatically after Senna’s death.

One of the most remarkable moments in my teen years was watching, at the grandstands, the BAR of Olivier Panis coming into the Interlagos’ main straight on the Saturday morning before the Brazilian GP 2002 – it was the first time I saw live a F1 car with my own eyes. I can still remember the feeling after hearing that wonderful deafening noise.

Years later, as a journalist, I had the honor to attend some very important moments in recent years, like the Michael Schumacher’s official return to a F1 car (Valencia, 2010), and the decisions of 2011 and 2012 World Championships, at Suzuka and Interlagos.

In my view, there wasn’t ever any moment as exciting as the last lap of Brazilian GP 2008, including every single sport on the world. That’s why I think motorsport is a great backdrop for great stories, and I’m very enthusiastic as a journalist to be able to telling them to everyone.
